Double Jogger Strollers

How To Choose Your Double Jogger Strollers

If you are an active person and want to stay fit and active without leaving your children, the Double jogger strollers are a good choice. When choosing your double jogger strollers you will need to consider not only price but also the wide variety of features, some of which you may consider to be excessive.

The choice of double jogger strollers are also limited when you are pushing more than one child! It is worth taking the time to consider all your requirements, getting two children out the door on time can be a tall order and if you have the wrong stroller you can make it even harder for yourself.

One of the most important factors to consider for your double jogger strollers is the wheel size; a general rule is the rougher the terrain you will be on, the bigger wheel size you will need. If you will only be using your double jogger strollers on smooth tarmaced surfaces you will probably only need a small wheel design.

Also consider the type of wheels, if maneuverability is an issue with your double jogger strollers then you will need to have swivel wheels. If you go for a fixed wheel on your double jogger strollers it may be easier when you are out jogging, but getting around the aisles in a shop may be quite difficult!

Most of the double jogger strollers have some degree of shock absorbers. If you think you will be using your stroller on very rough terrain this is worth making sure that these are adequate for the terrain you think you will be on as well as the age of your children. Most double jogger strollers will have reclining seats.

For a newborns the seat should go completely flat, however, it is worth considering if you want to be bouncing your newborn around, or if you will start you exercise regime when the baby is a over three months? If you plan to be taking your double jogger strollers ‘off-road’ as soon as baby is born you should check your requirements with the manufacturers who will be able to advise you of the required level of shock absorbency and seat suitability.

The usual layout is to have the two children side by side. If you have twins this is ideal, however, if you have two children of different age, but close enough together to both need a pushchair the requirements of each child will be slightly different and you may have a bit more flexibility in your choice of double jogger strollers.

Finally, you will need to consider if you will need to fold/ collapse your double jogger strollers and if so how small you would like it to go. Obviously there is no comparison between the folded size of double jogger strollers over the single jogger strollers, so don’t get your hopes up!
